Paul Mathieson

Paul Mathieson is a seasoned Manufacturing Process Engineer with extensive experience in the medical device and semiconductor industries. Currently, Paul serves as a Manufacturing Process Engineer at Terumo Aortic since 2018 and has held a similar role at Vascutek since July 2014. Previous positions include Manufacturing Process Engineer at Haemonetics and Process Engineer roles at the Scottish Microelectronics Centre and Freescale Semiconductor. Paul’s expertise encompasses equipment validation, process optimization, and documentation management, particularly in manufacturing systems for medical devices and MEMS technologies. Paul holds a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Edinburgh and a degree in Chemical Physics, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths from the same institution.
