Chetan Makam serves as General Manager, Blood Center Solutions for Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, a mission-driven medical technology company focused on unlocking the potential of blood and cell-based therapies. He is the Board Chair for Terumo Penpol, Pvt., Ltd., a subsidiary of Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies. Chetan is also Terumo Penpol’s Managing Director with accountability for the India operations and businesses.
As a key member of Terumo’s executive leadership team, Chetan leads a globally integrated service team that currently serves as a key market differentiator in 130 different countries and aims to deliver a unified customer experience. In addition to leading Global Services, he co-leads the Digital Transformation and Data Analytics programs and is accountable for the Process Excellence initiatives.
