Erika Colomb

Erika Colomb is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in the biomedical and mechanical engineering fields. Currently serving as a Sustaining Systems Engineer 3 at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies since May 2018, Erika leads design change reviews for sustaining products and previously functioned as a Disposables Development Engineer 2, where responsibilities included verifying disposable product testing and designing fixtures with SolidWorks. Erika's internship experience includes research assistance at the Nanostructured Materials Research Team, engineering internships focused on product testing at Colorado Therapeutics LLC and HDT Global, and significant involvement in education and event planning roles throughout earlier positions. Erika holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, supplemented by a study abroad semester in Biomechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark.
