Matilde Heymans

Matilde Heymans is currently serving as the Environmental and Sustainability Coordinator at Terumo Europe since February 2022. Prior to this role, Matilde gained valuable experience through an internship at TAUW Belgium from November 2019 to August 2020, focusing on risk analysis methods and the enhancement of safety reporting. Matilde also worked as a student employee at Pauwels Sauces in September 2019, supporting the SHE manager, and completed an internship there from February to June 2019 aimed at obtaining a certification in Environmental Coordination, with a focus on waste processing optimization. Matilde holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Prevention Management from KU Leuven (2015-2020) and has pursued additional training as a prevention advisor at Odisee and basic accounting at Centrum Voor Avondonderwijs.
