Ara Taalas

Ara Taalas is a seasoned professional in data science and analytics, currently serving as the Head of Data Platforms & Integrations and Data Scientist in Digital Health at Terveystalo since June 2019. Ara has led the development of a data hub for productized analytics and AI models, while also managing various data science projects focusing on healthcare effectiveness. Previous positions include Product Owner and Data Scientist at Terveystalo, and roles at OP Financial Group as Product Owner for Cloud Analytics and Big Data Specialist in healthcare. Ara’s academic credentials include pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Machine Learning at the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland and a Master’s degree in Life Science Technologies from Aalto University, complemented by experience as a Research Assistant and Course Assistant in related fields.
