Timo Savola

Timo Savola is an experienced architect currently leading backend development and operations at Terveystalo since September 2023. Previously, Timo served as CTO and Backend Lead at Ninchat.com from March 2011 to August 2023, where responsibilities included the design, implementation, and maintenance of server software and infrastructure. Earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer positions at Sulake Dynamoid, focusing on IRC-Galleria and related social media sites, and Movial, specializing in embedded Linux consulting and open source projects. Timo also contributed as a Guest Lecturer in software engineering at Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and has experience in mobile game application server development from the time at Codetoys. Timo's technical journey began in the Demoscene as an Amiga coder and 3D graphics artist. Education includes studies in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan and completion of secondary education at Vaskivuoren lukio.
