Tuomo Oikarainen

Tuomo Oikarainen is an experienced medical professional with a strong background in digital health and telemedicine. Currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer for Terveystalo since August 2021, Tuomo oversees outpatient operations and medical leadership while driving the development of the Ella Electronic Health Record system. Previous roles include Chief Digital Medical Officer at Terveystalo, where Tuomo led the design of a chat-based EHR system, and Chief Medical Officer at Kuura Digilääkäri Oy, responsible for telemedicine service production. With experience as a CEO and co-founder in multiple healthcare ventures, Tuomo has contributed significantly to the evolution of telemedicine, AI integration in clinical workflows, and the management of occupational health services across various organizations in Finland. Educational credentials include a Licentiate of Medicine, a Master of Economics, and specialization in Public Health Medicine from the University of Oulu and the University of Helsinki.
