Dham Vayalur has extensive work experience in engineering and maintenance roles. They started their career at Formulab Inc. in 2004 as an Industrial Engineer. From 2005 to 2006, they worked at CleanAIR Systems as a Process/Product Engineer. In 2007, they joined Tervis as a Product/Project Engineer, where they designed new products and managed production equipment. They later became an Interim Facility Maintenance Manager and then a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer. In 2017, they became the Engineering & Maintenance Manager and, in November 2020, they were promoted to Director of Engineering. Throughout their career, Dham Vayalur has implemented various process improvements and robotic cells to increase efficiency and reduce costs. They have also mentored interns and worked on new product launches.

Dham Vayalur's education history begins in 1995 when they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras.
