Basil Girgrah

Basil Girgrah has extensive work experience in project management and environmental science. Basil started their career as a Project Scientist at XCG Consultants Ltd in 1997, where they worked until 1998. Basil then moved on to Franz Environmental Inc as an Environmental Scientist from 1998 to 2001. After that, they joined Trow Associates Inc as an Environmental Scientist and worked there from 2002 to 2007. Basil then worked as an Environmental Project Manager at Knight Piesold Ltd from 2007 to 2009. In 2010, they joined Indian and Northern Affairs Canada as an Environmental Specialist, where they managed budgets, work plans, and schedules for assessment, remediation, and risk assessment projects until 2011. Basil continued their career at Tervita as a Project Manager and Lead Estimator, responsible for project estimates ranging up to $35 million, project controls, vendor management, project coordination, and reporting. Since 2011, they have also been working at Secure Energy as a Project Manager.

Basil Girgrah pursued their education at Queen's University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Mathematics and Engineering from 1986 to 1991. Following that, they continued their studies at the same institution and completed a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from 1991 to 1994.
