Mohamed Fayad

Mohamed Fayad has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Mohamed is currently working as a Process Plant Operator at SECURE ENERGY since May 2021. Prior to that, they served as an Operations Supervisor Drilling and Production at Tervita Corporation starting from January 2017.

From October 2015 to January 2017, Mohamed worked at Schlumberger in the role of Schlumberger Production Technologies, where they were responsible for assuring production and asset operations while extending the field life. Mohamed also maintained optimal production through prevention and inhibition of various issues like scale, paraffin, asphaltene, and corrosion. Mohamed focused on reinstate and improving flow performance and revenue safely.

Before Schlumberger, Mohamed worked as a Drilling Fluids Specialist at Schlumberger from April 2014 to October 2015. In this role, they consulted with client/operator personnel, provided accurate rig site testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and recommended chemical additions. Mohamed ensured adequate logistics of inventory on site and provided on-call service 24/7. Mohamed generated end of well recaps and recommendations for the next well.

During their time at ARC Resources Ltd. in 2014, Mohamed participated in the summer internship program as a Production Technologist. Mohamed gained experience in various aspects of the industry, including SCADA, optimization, service wells, reviewing well files, running economic analysis, planning workovers, and supervising operations of third-party service companies.

Earlier in their career, Mohamed worked as a Crew Chief at Paul Davis systems (PDS) from February 2010 to August 2012.

Overall, Mohamed has extensive experience in operations, production technologies, drilling fluids, and crew management in the energy industry.

Mohamed Fayad began their education in 2012 at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, where they pursued a degree in Petroleum Engineering Technologist with a focus on Oil and Gas. Mohamed completed their studies in 2014. In the same year, they attended MI SWACO MUD SCHOOL and obtained a degree in Drilling Fluids Specialist, specializing in Drilling Fluids.

In 2015, Mohamed obtained a certification as a Production Technologist from SLB PT. It is unclear where they obtained this certification. Additionally, in 2014, they obtained a certification as a Drilling Fluids Engineer from Schlumberger in Houston, TX. Finally, in 2012, they obtained a certification as a Petroleum Engineering Technologist from NAIT.

In 2016, Mohamed attended MI SWACO Production Technologist for a brief period, focusing on Oil and Gas.
