Matthias Thiel

Matthias Thiel currently serves as Vice President Technology at TES, a leading global green energy company focused on e-NG production from green hydrogen. Prior to this role, Matthias held positions as Senior Process Engineer at Air Liquide and Technologist at Shell, where expertise included gasification, hydrogen production, and methanol synthesis. Early experience includes internships at BASF and Schmolz + Bickenbach, as well as student assistant roles in thermodynamics and mechanics at RWTH Aachen University. Matthias holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, complemented by an exchange program at National Tsing Hua University.
