Benjamin Thome

Benjamin Thome, Ph.D., currently serves as the Technology Team Lead at tesa since July 2019, where responsibilities include leading a team of process engineers focused on solvent-free extrusion for adhesive tape products. Prior experience includes roles as a Process Development Engineer at tesa, a Scientist II at Perrigo Company plc, and a Graduate Student Researcher at The University of Akron. Additionally, Benjamin taught sophomore-level Organic Chemistry Labs as an Adjunct Professor at Grand Valley State University. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from The University of Akron, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Grand Valley State University.
