Sam Strobe, CPA

Sam Strobe, CPA, has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience at various companies in different roles. Sam is currently serving as the Director of Finance at Tesco Controls since March 2023. Before this, they worked at Energy Systems as the Director of Accounting & Finance from December 2021 to March 2023 and as a Controller from September 2020 to December 2021. Prior to Energy Systems, they were the US Controller at Blaize from February 2020 to September 2020, where they were responsible for monthly financial statements, financial close processes, variance analysis, cash forecasting, and policy creation. Sam also played a crucial role in the implementation of a new ERP system. Prior to Blaize, Sam worked at Waste Connections as a District Controller from July 2018 to September 2019 and as an Assistant Controller from October 2016 to June 2018. Sam started their career at KPMG US as a Senior Audit Associate from May 2015 to September 2016 and as an Audit Associate from October 2013 to April 2015.

Sam Strobe, CPA, began their education at the University of Arizona in 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. During their time at the university, Sam also took minors in Global Business and Spanish, further expanding their knowledge and skills.

After completing their undergraduate studies, they obtained the prestigious designation of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in August 2016 from the state of Alaska. This certification further solidifies their expertise in the accounting field and showcases their dedication to professional excellence.
