Technology Lead - Acquisition at Tesco Mobile

Neil Faid has a comprehensive work experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. Neil began their career at Nokia/Marconi Communications in 1999 as a System Test Engineer. Neil then worked at Adaptive Broadband Ltd as a Software Integration Test Engineer before joining Microsoft as a Software Test Engineer, where they were responsible for testing WAP Browser features.

In 2002, Neil joined Panasonic - PMCDE as a Senior System Test Engineer, where they developed and executed test cases on mobile handsets. Neil also maintained and ran System Test reporting tools.

Neil joined Vodafone in 2005 and held various roles, including Technical Product Engineer, Technical Lead - Supplier Relationship, Solution Architect, and End to End Design Architect. In these roles, they were accountable for the end-to-end design and technical lifecycle of major projects and work packages. Neil also played a significant role in promoting best architectural design practices and principles.

Since 2017, Neil has been employed by Tesco Mobile. Neil started as a Solution Designer and was later promoted to Lead Solution Designer, where they were responsible for scoping and shaping solutions that met the business stakeholders' requirements. Neil then transitioned to roles such as Chapter Lead - Architecture & Solution Design, Head of Architecture & Solution Design, and currently holds the position of Technology Lead - Acquisition.

Throughout their career, Neil has demonstrated expertise in solution design, project management, and technical leadership.

Neil Faid attended the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside from 1996 to 1999, where they pursued a BSc (Hons) in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
