Neil Smith

Neil Smith is currently the Head of Product - Payroll at Tesco, where they lead a product team and oversee the payroll portfolio. With over 20 years of payroll experience, including 12 years as a Payroll Manager, Neil has a strong background in areas such as element definition, user acceptance testing, and end-user training. Before Tesco, they served as a Payroll Manager at BGL Group, where they contributed to the Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll function. Their expertise also includes experience as an HCM Payroll Consultant at KPMG and roles at Thomas Cook and NSA Payroll Services. Neil holds a BTEC National Diploma in Business & Finance from Norfolk College of Arts & Technology.
