Carmelo Consiglio

Carmelo Consiglio has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Carmelo worked at TESISQUARE® - TESI SPA as an IT Project Manager and Delivery engineer from December 2018 to the present. Prior to that, they were employed at Reply, where they held several roles including Project Manager, Service Manager, and Project Manager Team Lead between October 2016 and November 2018. Before joining Reply, Carmelo worked at Data Management S.p.A. as a Senior Java EE Developer for nearly 10 years, from January 2007 to September 2016. In this role, they were responsible for Java EE web applications development and had expertise in various technologies such as Java, Servlet, EJB, Restful and SOAP WebServices, JavaScript, AngularJS, JSF, Hibernate, XML, XSL. Carmelo also had experience in GIS technologies like OpenLayers, GeoServer, GeoTools, PostGIS, WMS, WFS, and SLD.

Carmelo Consiglio completed a Master level degree (laurea magistralis) in Computer Science from the Università di Catania, starting in 2005 and finishing in 2008. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate studies in Computer Science from the same university, starting in 2000 and graduating in 2005. In addition, Carmelo Consiglio obtained a Certificate of professional competence as Engineer (Section A, Information field) from the Ordine degli Ingegneri di Catania in July 2009.
