Akhil Sharma

Akhil Sharma is a Sr. Vibration Test & Data Analysis Engineer at Tesla, bringing extensive research experience in NVH testing and analysis for linear and nonlinear structures. Their doctoral research focuses on innovative methods for detecting and characterizing nonlinear structures using pneumatic excitation. Prior to Tesla, Akhil served as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they constructed parametric models for gearbox performance, and worked as an Assistant Manager in powertrain design at Bajaj Auto Ltd, leading the design of valve train components. They hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, following a master's degree from the same institution and a bachelor's degree from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology.
