Alejandro Garnica

Alejandro Garnica, CIA, CFE, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in internal audit and risk management. Currently serving as the Head of Internal Audit and Advisory for EMEA at Tesla since January 2020, previous roles include Global Internal Audit Manager at JTI from January 2018 to January 2020, and Internal Audit Manager at DIA Group from April 2015 to January 2018. Alejandro has a solid foundation in internal audit methodologies, having developed and executed audit plans approved by the Audit Committee. Prior to these positions, experience includes a role as a Senior Consultant at EY from January 2011 to April 2015 and an internship at Universidad Complutense de Madrid in marketing and research from November 2009 to June 2010. Alejandro earned a Licentiate degree in Business Administration and Management with a major in Finance from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, graduating in 2010 with a GPA of 8/10.
