Avinash Prabhu

Avinash Prabhu is currently a Staff Materials Engineer at Tesla, building on extensive experience in the materials engineering field. Previously, they held various roles at Tesla, including Senior Materials Engineer and Materials Engineering Intern, where they contributed to the development of patented alloys and conducted failure analysis. Avinash's academic background includes a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Tennessee and multiple degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. They also served as a Research Associate at the NSF Center for Materials Joining and gained research experience at several prestigious institutions, including The Ohio State University and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
