Babak Parkhideh

Babak Parkhideh is a power electronics expert with over 15 years of experience in advanced medium voltage systems. They currently work as a Power Electronics Expert at Tesla and serve as an Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they also direct the PV Integration Laboratory. Babak previously held roles as a Graduate Intern at Siemens, Design Engineer at Fulmen Company, and Technical Advisory Board Member at Atom Power, Inc. They earned their Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tehran, a Master’s degree from RWTH Aachen University, and a PhD from North Carolina State University. Additionally, they founded Tell-i Technologies, where they design and manufacture ultrafast sensors for power electronics converters.
