Bhuvan Jhamb

Bhuvan Jhamb is a Machine Learning Engineer with experience at Tesla, focusing on building autonomy for Optimus, and previously held a role as an ML/Robotics Intern. Bhuvan's prior experience includes a tenure at Intel Corporation as a Software Developer in the AI & Computer Vision group, where development of functional safety technology and obstacle avoidance algorithms for autonomous mobile robots was performed. Additional experience at Intel Labs involved R&D for digital twins and scene understanding. As Student President of the Robotics Club at MNNIT, Bhuvan raised significant funds while mentoring multiple projects and conducting numerous classes in robotics. Bhuvan's research as a Research Fellow at the Indian Academy of Sciences led to the publication of a journal paper on monocular depth estimation. Currently, Bhuvan is pursuing a Masters of Science in Computer Vision at Carnegie Mellon University after completing a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, where leadership roles and scholarship awards were also held.
