Charles Kuehmann is currently the VP of Materials Engineering at both SpaceX and Tesla Motors, where they are responsible for delivering materials innovations that support sustainable transition and the commercialization of space. Previously, they served on the Board of Directors at QuesTek Innovations LLC from 1997 to 2015 and were the Director of Product Design at Apple from 2012 to 2015. Charles earned a BSE in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University and a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering from Northwestern University.
