Craig Young

Craig Young is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in product security engineering and research. Currently serving as a Staff Product Security Engineer at Tesla since January 2022, Craig previously held positions at Tripwire from April 2013 to January 2022, including Principal Security Researcher and VERT Security Researcher, where contributions included writing security content and identifying numerous vulnerabilities leading to hundreds of CVEs. Craig's background also includes roles as a Computer Security Researcher at nCircle and various positions at IBM Internet Security Systems from June 2007 to April 2012, where significant projects included developing advanced intrusion prevention systems and providing Level 3 engineering support. Craig began a career in technology as a Software Engineer Intern at Siemens between January 2004 and January 2007. Craig holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, earned in January 2007.
