David Banales possesses extensive experience in automotive engineering, with a focus on design and release processes. At General Motors, from August 2009 to July 2011, David served as the lead engineer for Rear Door Trims on the GMT Full Size Truck and developed an in-house 2nd Row Seat Armrest. Prior to GM, David worked at Nissan Motor Corporation from December 2006 to June 2008, contributing to mid-cycle enhancements for the Sentra and ensuring compliance with safety standards. At Ford Motor Company from August 2011 to December 2014, David designed front seat plastic components for the Mustang, leading the first fully in-house design for this model. Currently, David is a Senior Interior Engineer at Tesla Motors since January 2015.
