David Kocis

David Kocis is an accomplished Information Security professional with extensive experience in incident response and cyber defense. Currently serving as a Staff Incident Response Engineer at Tesla since August 2023, David previously held several key positions at Wellington Management, including Lead Security Analyst and Senior Security Analyst, where responsibilities encompassed leading cyber defense initiatives. Prior experience includes roles at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation as a Threat Intelligence Analyst, and at Omgeo as an Information Security Analyst, with a focus on network intrusion detection and SIEM operations. David's educational background includes a Master's degree in Security Informatics from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Connecticut.
