Ding Xu

Ding (Mike) Xu, P.Eng., is a New Product Introduction and Manufacturing Specialist with extensive experience in mechanical design, lean manufacturing, process optimization, and project management across various industries, including aerospace and heavy engineering. Currently, Ding works as a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer at Tesla, following a role at Dynamic Attractions where they contributed to large-scale projects for leading theme parks. Previously, Ding held positions at Avcorp Industries and CORE Energy Recovery Solutions, focusing on manufacturing efficiency and quality improvement initiatives. Ding began their career with a Mechanical Engineering degree from The University of British Columbia and has continued to enhance their skills through courses such as PLC Fundamentals.
