Donghui Li is a highly skilled materials scientist with extensive experience in material degradation analysis and optimization. At Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from 2020 to 2021, Donghui developed protocols for failure analyses of nuclear-grade cables and characterized the degradation of various materials in challenging environments using machine learning. Donghui also evaluated photovoltaic degradation through data-driven methods and conducted studies on polymer degradation in marine renewable energy systems. Currently serving as a Senior Materials Engineer at Tesla since 2024, Donghui has previously held internships at China Petroleum & Chemical Co., Ltd. and BD, focusing on hemostatic agents and bioadhesive products. Donghui earned a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, a Master of Science in Polymer Chemistry from The University of Akron, and a Bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry from Lanzhou University.
