Emil Pei is the Director of Engineering at Tesla, where since 2012, leadership has been provided to nine global service engineering teams supporting Tesla's energy products. Prior to Tesla, Emil Pei held positions as Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager, contributing to significant advancements in navigation and software platforms. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Software Engineer at Makani and Advanced Design Engineer at Sierra Nevada Corporation, as well as Systems Engineer at Dynetics, Inc. Emil Pei holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
