Evan Small

Evan Small is an accomplished software engineer with over 14 years of experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Tesla since June 2009, Evan contributes to the user interface development for Model S, 3, X, and Y vehicles. Prior to Tesla, Evan held multiple engineering roles at Volkswagen AG from January 2007 to June 2009, including Senior Interface Developer and Research Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Controls from Stanford University (2005-2007) and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (2001-2005).
