Fernando Soto

Fernando Soto is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in supplier quality management and industrialization engineering. Currently serving as a Sr. Supplier Industrialization Engineer at Tesla since December 2021, Fernando previously held the position of Supplier Quality Manager at OSRAM Continental, where responsibilities included the introduction and development of new components using Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and VDA 6 methodologies. During his tenure at Continental from September 2012 to October 2019, Fernando advanced from a Quality Intern to Warranty Engineer, emphasizing quality assurance metrics and managing customer quality claims, while also coordinating cross-functional implementations to enhance supplier performance. Fernando holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Universidad del Valle de México and a Diploma in Project Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
