Jaden Hou

Jaden Hou is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in natural language processing and machine learning. Currently employed at Alpha Edison since May 2019, Jaden has led the development of a topic-based sentiment analysis engine for the medical industry, leveraging web scraping, AWS data integration, and various NLP models, achieving a 0.96 ROC_AUC score. Prior to this role, Jaden completed an internship at the Information Sciences Institute, where a dynamic clustering algorithm for crisis data was developed, and has experience with customer consumption tracking and analysis from earlier roles. Jaden holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Applied Data Science from the University of Southern California.
