Jiang Cui

Jiang Cui is an experienced engineer and scientist specializing in battery technology with over 11 years of R&D experience in battery materials and cells, including Li-ion and Na-ion batteries. Jiang has held positions such as Senior Materials Engineer and Staff Materials Engineer at Tesla from 2023 to 2025. Previously, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Texas at Austin (2020-2022), and also held roles at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Clemson University. Jiang earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a GPA of 4.0/4.3, and holds bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering and Japanese Language and Literature from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
