Joel Butler

Joel Butler is a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Tesla, where they have been working since 2022. Previously, they held various engineering roles at Tesla, including Manufacturing Engineer and Manufacturing Engineering Intern, contributing to the development of manufacturing fixtures and production processes. Joel also gained experience as a Mechanical Systems Engineering Intern at Babcock Canada Inc., where they provided mechanical engineering support for the Royal Canadian Navy's submarines. They began their career as an Estimating & Project Coordinator at Brymark Installations Group Inc., where they designed engineering drawings and developed quality assurance packages. Joel holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria.
