Laura Andersen

Laura Andersen is currently a Staff Test Engineer at Tesla, where they utilize their extensive background in materials science. They previously served as a Staff Materials Test Engineer and have also held roles at Modumetal, Inc. and Spheretex GmbH as a Materials Science Intern and Materials Process Engineer, respectively. Laura completed their PhD in Materials Science at the University of California San Diego, where they also conducted significant research and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Their varied experience includes work as a Nanomaterials Research Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems and internships at notable institutions such as Apple and Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
