Li Wang

Li Wang is a Staff Autopilot Planning and Controls Engineer at Tesla, where they have contributed to the development of new autonomy features used by over one million Tesla owners worldwide since 2018. They earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech in May 2018, with research focused on control theory, robotics, and machine learning. Prior to Tesla, Li gained experience as a Summer Research Intern at Siemens Corporate Technology and OFS Fitel LLC, and was a Graduate Research Assistant at Clemson University. Li's academic background also includes a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
