Lilla Safford Smith Samia is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as a Sr. Manager in Systems Design and Architecture Engineering at Tesla. Previously, they founded and served as Chief Technology Officer at ChillFlux, Inc., where they translated PhD research into commercial applications. Lilla also has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
