Mark Richards

Mark Richards has extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly in the field of stamping. Since May 2014, Mark has held multiple positions at Tesla, culminating in the role of Senior Manager of Manufacturing Engineering - Stampings, where responsibilities include introducing new stamping dies for major vehicle models and managing stamping die suppliers across different regions. Prior to Tesla, Mark worked at Jaguar Land Rover from April 1990 to May 2014 as a Principal Engineer, where Mark led the introduction of stamping dies for various programs and provided engineering support. Mark's career began at Torin Limited, where Mark completed a five-year tool-making apprenticeship and eventually became a Tool Designer. Mark holds a Higher National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering from North Star College Swindon.
