Matthew Grossmann

Matthew Grossmann is a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer at Tesla, where they focus on R&D for new product introduction and are a founding member of the cell design team. With a background that includes significant roles at GE Aviation, Maxwell Technologies, and Flowserve, Matthew has designed custom testing systems for jet engines and developed advanced battery technologies, including the innovative 4680 cell. They hold a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
