Matthew Kengott

Matthew Kengott is an experienced industrial engineer currently serving as a Senior Staff Industrial Engineer in Factory Design at Tesla since June 2015. Kengott has progressed through various roles at Tesla, including Manager of Factory Layout Design and Staff Industrial Engineer. Prior to Tesla, Kengott worked at Arrow Electronics as an Industrial Engineer, where layout drawings were drafted and waste analysis performed to enhance warehouse processes, and as an Industrial Engineering Intern, focusing on warehouse equipment design with AutoCAD. Earlier experience includes a Manufacturing Engineering Internship at Hamilton Company, where parts were designed using Pro/Engineer software, and roles in the Embry-Riddle Machine Vision Lab and EE Technologies Inc, contributing to 3D media creation and testing electronic products. Kengott earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
