Meredith Westafer

Meredith Westafer is currently the Director of Factory Design at Tesla, having previously served as a Senior Manager in the same department. They began their career as an Industrial Engineering Intern at Publix, where they significantly increased output on fresh food packaging lines. Meredith has also worked as a Manufacturing Process Engineer at Owens Corning and as a Production Planner/Manufacturing Engineer II at Cree, where they contributed substantially to revenue growth and efficiency improvements. They hold a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management and Industrial and Management Systems Engineering from the University of South Florida.
