Mike Cesarano

Mike Cesarano is a highly experienced engineer specializing in mechanical and equipment engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Equipment Engineer at Tesla since October 2015, Mike is involved in prototyping and engineering design, with a robust skill set that includes over six engineering competencies. Prior to Tesla, Mike worked as a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer at the Tesla Die Casting and CNC Machining Center, and as a Mechanical Engineer at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) from August 2009 to September 2015. Additionally, Mike's early experience includes a role as an Undergraduate Mechanical Engineer at the Center for Advanced Energy Systems, where energy assessments were conducted for medium to large companies. Mike holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Rutgers University.
