Nilly Hemmati currently serves as a Sales Engineer for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions at Tesla, focusing on utility and industrial projects in the EMEA region since November 2024. Prior experience includes roles as an IT services intern and research assistant at the IRAN Telecommunication Research Center, where Nilly engaged in IT projects and contributed to the evaluation of ICT infrastructure in underprivileged areas of Iran. Nilly also held positions as a Graduate Research Fellow and research assistant at Politecnico di Milano, focusing on the development of cyber-physical energy systems and the interoperability and cybersecurity of IEC61850 standards in microgrid applications. Nilly began the academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Islamic Azad University and subsequently earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
