Nishith Patel

Nishith Patel is a Senior Algorithms Engineer at Tesla, where they develop and optimize algorithms for the Autobidder software on the Energy Optimization team. Prior to this role, Nishith completed a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and served as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on distributed economic model predictive control. Nishith has also held various engineering and research positions, including roles at Georgia Institute of Technology, ExxonMobil, and Johnson Controls, where they gained valuable experience in advanced process control and optimization techniques. Nishith's dedication to research and teaching was recognized when they were awarded the Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher in the College of Engineering during their studies at Georgia Tech.
