Phil Humphrey

Phil Humphrey is a proven technical leader in battery manufacturing, currently serving as a Senior Manager of Cell Development at Tesla, where they focus on scaling up the 4680 Battery. They have significant experience managing a capital project portfolio exceeding $100 million annually and have successfully led engineering and production teams through two major acquisitions and several new product introductions. Phil's previous roles include Director of Advanced Manufacturing at ADVANO, Global Production Director at CMC Materials, and Development Manager at Cabot Microelectronics. Phil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master’s in Engineering Management from Northwestern University.
