Philip Brown

Philip Brown is an accomplished Drive Systems Design Leader at Tesla, bringing over 15 years of full-time experience in mechanical engineering. Philip began their career as an Associate Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. and subsequently held various engineering roles at Bell Helicopter, where they specialized in material review and design for helicopter drive systems. After contributing significantly to the V-280 Valor program as an Engineer II, Philip advanced to a leadership role at Tesla, overseeing mechanical design engineering efforts. They hold a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, where they also completed their undergraduate studies.
