Pixiang Lan has extensive experience in the engineering and research fields, specifically in tribology and mechanical design. Pixiang's career began with an internship at Xiamen Kinglong Automotive Industry Ltd, where solutions were provided for production line issues. Following this, Pixiang worked as a structure designer at Xiamen R&T Industry and as a process engineer at Darwin Precisions Corporation. A significant role as a research intern at Fujian Wide Plus Precision Instruments involved designing and testing ball valves. Pixiang further advanced expertise in tribology as a graduate research assistant at Texas A&M University and later as a research scientist and lead operations at ATSP Innovations, contributing to NASA projects.
