R. Cameron Thurman

R. Cameron Thurman is currently a Staff Technical Program Manager at Tesla, specializing in Battery Cell Manufacturing Engineering. Previously, they held various engineering roles at Tesla, including Senior Technical Program Manager and Mechanical Design Engineer. Prior to their time at Tesla, R. Cameron worked as an Edison Engineer at GE Oil & Gas, where they completed a rigorous technical leadership program involving multiple engineering rotations. They hold a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and have completed undergraduate studies at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
