Richard V. is currently a Senior Engineer at Tesla, focusing on Battery Abuse in the Cell division. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley, they have extensive experience in mechanical design across varied fields, including medical devices, robotics, and automotive systems. Previously, Richard managed the Berkeley Hyperloop team, leading design efforts and sponsorship outreach for competitions. They have also held engineering roles at Neocis Inc. and Schlumberger, where they contributed to innovations in robotic surgery and drilling tool design, respectively.
