Rob Avila is an accomplished manager in technical programs with extensive experience in infrastructure engineering and factory construction management. Currently serving as the Manager of Technical Programs at Tesla, Rob leads the Infrastructure Engineering Program Management team for GigaTexas and previously managed the launch of multiple factory projects including the 4680 Battery Cell Factory. Prior to Tesla, Rob held various leadership roles at KATERRA, overseeing product platforms and improving project execution for senior living facilities. Earlier experience includes project management and engineering roles at ACCO Engineered Systems and Gayner Engineers, with a strong focus on mechanical design and construction administration. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
