Rush McNair

Rush McNair is a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer at Tesla, where they currently drive the mechanical design of inverters. They previously served as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Tesla from 2018 to 2023, playing a key role in the development of traction inverters and managing the design and release of various components. McNair gained early experience as an Engineering Intern at Tesla in 2012 and was an active member of UT FASE from 2011 to 2012. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2012.
